The Overseas Financial Trade Ombudsman service provides consumers with a free, independent service for resolving disputes with investment brokers who are members of the Overseas Financial Trade Association.
Stephen Kerbel brings 20 years of FS regulatory experience to his role as Overseas Financial Services Ombudsman. He is the second ombudsman of OFTA, for which, in 2000 he wrote the membership and conduct of business rules, as well as the terms of reference of the ombudsman. This institution remains the first and only global ombudsman in the financial services industry.
His other roles include Head of Compliance and a member of the 4 eyes team of a leading international bank, where he is at the sharp end of international industry developments.
